ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! You have to try Mario's!
I used to bring my two older children here every Friday night for dinner and remember how delicious everything was.
I haven't been here for 18 years and while driving by, I decided to bring my husband for dinner (and I didn't have to cook).
I had Veal Sorrentino ($25) and asparagus ($9) and my husband had Chicken Ala Mario ($19). I wouldn't care if it was $40 each. They were out of this world delicious. I know the Osso Buco is $39, stuffed artichoke ($15), and stuffed mushrooms ($11) are beyond delicious too. The salad was fresh, and warm bread was served with olive oil garlic and basil. Sooo good! The portions are big enough that you could share; I think there's a $5 charge.
I know you're probably thinking, OK, Italian food; it's just like any other Italian place. It definitely is not like Mario's. Mario's is the best!
It was early Friday evening and it was crowded! The courses were served so you have time to enjoy the food and have a conversation without being rushed, but there wasn't a long wait for any of the courses. The wait staff is very professional.
The pictures are a picture of our table, how cozy the room is, how busy it was, and how much food was left over. Next time I'll take a picture of the food is when it's served. There is a bar area thar you can sit and wait for karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. I used to do that with my girlfriends. My husband's plate was empty of course. Teehee! I took my food to go and there was enough for lunch and dinner the next day!
I had flan and Hubby had cheesecake. Again, delicious, delicious, delicious.
To sum it up, The food was out of this world 18 years ago and still is to this day! It's actually better! This is going to be our new dinner spot! You won't be disappointed! -

Had the shrimp scampi to go for lunch via Uber eats and I was VERY disappointed with the shrimp.
The scampi sauce was AMAZING and they sent a HUGE piece of bread that was also good. The shrimp however were so so.
I did not like that the shrimps were not tossed in the scampi sauce they were just kinda thrown on top of the bed of pasta. The shrimp were deveined, but there was still some deveined residue cooked on the actual shrimp, therefore I couldn't enjoy them.
Not sure if I would give any shrimp dishes a second chance, but the other components were well. -

Mario's may not have a specific dress code, but as you walk in it feels like a higher end Italian restaurant. Beautifully decorated and dim, the restaurant looks and feels nice.
The menu is pretty diverse, but has most of the staples of a general Italian restaurant. Meatballs, different chicken or beef and pasta dishes, and calamari. I chose penne alla vodka with breaded chicken. The food is good, and the portions are gigantic, but the prices are so high that it's difficult to justify dinner here.
The bar is a different story, however. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the bartenders are incredibly kind and attentive. The different drinks and cocktails are pretty diverse (my personal favorite is the blue sangria)
The bar can get pretty rowdy on Friday or Saturday nights, but it's generally a fun place to be. -

This was a great surprise for us. We wanted italian food and we got it. Normally, I dont eat Italian out because my sister in laws make the best Italian meals. Jaime was our waiter and we were greeted and seated quickly. We explained we were going to a show at the college and wanted to leave 7ish. Our meal included a salad, folowed by a palat cleansing sherbert on a small cone. Cute and tasty. We ordered eggplant parm, lasagna and bolognese. Nice presentations, Delicious meal and piping hot. Needless to say we couldn't eat it all and got 3 doggie bags to go. We shared some desserts, had coffee and were out the door a few minutes before 7. Success all the way around. Jaime and the servers were friendly, efficient and gregarious. We will be back. PS having the leftovers tonight. Yum

Love this place. Great food and drinks. Very nice waiters. Look on google to see what their specials are. We got the burratta cheese appetizer. It was fantastic.
